Housekeeping Summit 2024

Last week, we revived a cherished tradition with flair and enthusiasm! At Ideal Hospitality, growth is one of our core values, and we showcased it in grand style during the Sweeping Success Summit in Savannah. Our housekeeping managers gathered for an inspiring two-day event filled with knowledge-sharing, process refinement, and powerful team-building.

Eighteen of our top experts came together for a series of dynamic training sessions, where they shared their insights, brainstormed on expense control, and strengthened our processes. In small groups, they rolled up their sleeves and participated in hands-on exercises at our 2023 Hotel of the Year, where they tackled room cleaning, laundry processing, and workspace organization to learn best practices from each other.

The day continued with delicious food and fun team-building activities at Dave & Buster’s, bringing everyone closer together.

We wrapped up at Hyatt Place Savannah Airport with final sessions dedicated to reviewing SOPs and crafting improvement plans for all ten of our Ideal Hospitality hotels across Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. The energy was electric, and the commitment to excellence was unmistakable!
